Canada Atlantic Railway/Alexandria sub.

The line was opened as follows:
Coteau Junction to Casselman on February 1, 1882 (trains had started running on 1 January).
Casselman and South Indian (Limoges) by May 1882.
South Indian (Limoges) to Eastman Springs (Carlsbad Springs) by 15 July 1882.
Eastman Springs (Carlsbad Springs) to Ottawa on September 13, 1882.

Mileages shown are measured from Alburgh Junction in 1915 "Altitudes" by White (those marked * are from the 1918 Employee Timetable).

Ottawa Journal 29 October 1892. A joint station for the G.T.R. and C.A.R. is now being constructed at Coteau.  Mr. Tomlinson, of this city, is the contractor.  The cost will be about $4,000.

BRC order 31692 of 21 Oct 1921 approves location and details of  proposed GTR station at St.Polycarpe.
31692 was modified by 31934 of 20 December 1921, station to be completed by  31 May 1922.
Under 32528 of 20 June 1922 the time within which GTR must construct a station at St. Polycarpe Junction as ordered by 31934 is extended to August 31, 1922.  GTR will be liable for a penalty of $25 per day for every day the station remains uncompleted after this date.
37179 of 21 December 1925  refers to "the station at St. Polycarpe Junction which was recently destroyed by fire."

c. June 1962 102844 of 1 November 1960 authorizes CN to remove the station agent and retire the building at De Beaujeu.

27176 of 2 May 1918 Following complaint by H. Dupuis & Co, of Glen Robertson, GTR ordered to erect, by 1 Nov 1918, a station building and platform at Glen Robertson.
27588 of 13 August 1918 approves location and detail plans of GTR proposed new station and facilities at Glen Robertson.
27835 of 5 November 1918 authorizes GTR to take lands without the consent of the owner for the purposes of constructing a station as authorized by 27176 and 27588.
124754 of 21 June 1967 authorizes removal of caretaker.
R-36245 of 15 February 1984 CNR authorized to remove the caretaker at Glen Robertson and replace the station building with a shelter. 124754 amended to read "the applicant is authorized to remove the station agent at Glen Robertson.

There is a building on the main street of Glen Robertson, about a block east of the site of the old station, which has the basic outline of the old station.  It has been heavily modified as an apartment building.  This could be the structure."

11921 of 11 February 1966 authorizes the removal of the station agent provided a caretaker is appinted.
R-34462 of 5 October 1982 authorized CNR to remove the caretaker at Moose Creek and replace the existing station building with a passenger shelter provided the new facility is kept clean, heated and lighted for the comfort and convenience of the travelling public.

South Indian May 1 - A painful and probably fatal accident occurred yesterday morning at McAuley's siding, two miles below here, which may result in the death of Mr. A Paquette an esteemed resident of this place.  It appears the workmen belonging to Mr. McTavish's saw mill were placing cars for loading and Mr. Paquette, in attempting to cross the track, was crushed into a space of not more than six inches, between two loaded cars, the cars bounded back from the force of the concussion and poor Paquette fell unconscious.

7463 of 6 July 1909 Approves plans of GTR new combination passenger and freight station at South Indian proposed to be erected to replace the building destroyed by fire.
New station noted in Directors minutes 8 November 1909.
46881 of 22 June 1931 authorizes CNR to remove the agent from Limoges provided a caretaker is appointed.
87088 of 4 October 1955 authorizes CNR  to remove the station agent at Limoges and appoint a caretaker.

Ottawa Citizen 17 November 1886 "Mr. J.F. Wilson of Bearbrook was in town yesterday.  Some one thousand dollars have been raised by the residents and property owners of that locality towards the erection of a railway station shed, and it is understood that the Canada Atlantic authorities have consented to make it a stopping place."
