Farmer Hurt When Train Hits Tractor George
Cahill, a Ste. Eugene, Ont., farmer, was seriously injured shortly
after 10 o'clock this morning when the tractor on which he was riding
was struck by the CPR's Montreal-Ottawa train. Ste. Eugene is located
65 miles southeast of Ottawa and only a few miles from Rigaud, Que. Mr.
Cahill was rushed by ambulance to a Montreal hospital. The train was
delayed almost three hours while emergency repairs were made on the
diesel engine. | |
