Ottawa Citizen, 20 June 1952 Train Kills Two Horses At Manotick When a speeding CPR passenger train scattered a group of some 30 horses which were grazing along the right-of-way at Manotick Station last night, two of the animals were killed and the others were sent stampeding over the countryside. The horses, owned jointly by Earl Rafter and Mrs. Donna Teskey, had apparently broken through a fence and onto the railway property. |
