Ottawa Journal 23 January 1934 TRAIN IS DELAYED. Motor trouble on the C.N.R. Madawaska-Pembroke-Ottawa train this morning as it was leaving the sheds at Madawaska caused it to be more than two hours late on arrival at Ottawa. Due at 10.55 a.m, it did not reach here until nearly two o'clock. Some difficulty was experienced in getting the engine off the turn-table at Madawaska with the result that a steam engine had to be commissioned to convey the passengers here. |
