Ottawa Citizen 21 June 1920 GATINEAU VALLEY TRAIN DERAILED The Gatineau Valley C.P.R. train which left the city yesterday afternoon at 1.40 was delayed over two hours a short distance above Chelsea by the tender of the engine going on the track. At the point where the accident happened is a very high embankment and according to passengers the train narrowly escaped going over. They are high in their praise for the presence of mind of the engineer of the train, in averting a more serious accident. The train was travelling at a slow rate of speed |
