Ottawa Citizen - 4 April 1879 The rear or passenger coach of the train in the Canada Central Railway, due here last evening at 7 o'clock ran off the track a short distance from Bell's Corners. A number of passengers were seated in the car at the time, none of whom, fortunately, were injured. The car after leaving the track ran for some distance on the road-bed to the discomfort and annoyance of those within. The train was only delayed a few minutes by the accident, arriving in the city shortly after the regular time. |
