Grand Trunk Vars Station Burned 9 August 1907  27 February 1908 report from Inspector Ogilvie Vars station was burned down on 9 August 1907 and there has been no move to rebuild it. They have been using an old coach for the accommodation of the agent and passengers which is altogether inadequate. 14 March 1908 from GTR It is the intention to erect a new combination passenger and freight station at that point early this spring. 23 July 1909 from Ogilvie GTR have completed their new station at Vars. |
