Grand Trunk Station at Hawkesbury Partially Destroyed by Fire 14 April 1910 |
Hawkesbury April 15. The Grand Trunk station here was partially destroyed by fire last night about eleven o'clock. The fire originated in the freight shed adjoining the station. The books and records of the office were saved being slightly damaged by the water. The promptness of the fire brigade in responding to the alarm saved the building from total destruction.
