Parc Monceau

Parc Monceau was close to the apartment.  Artificial cabbages gave an exciting splash of colour.

The form of the trees can be seen better without their leaves.

The Arc de Triomphe seen from the park gate

Buttes Chaumont
This has always been one of our favourites.  Not as well known as many others, but well used and the designer made good use of the contours.

Sacré Coeur in the distance.

Another view of Sacré Coeur.

Versailles

The Versailles gardens are worth walking through at any time of the year.

The point of no return - it took us just over an hour to walk around the lake.

Parc Montsouris

This is a formal English garden that makes good use of concrete.
