Free Demi-Tasse Coffee When Travelling Via CPR, Published 6 October 1955

A never-to-be-forgotten delight when travelling on the Canadian Pacific across Canada is the black coffee demi-tasse you get before breakfast in the dining cars. My memory was jogged in this direction by a Montreal correspondent who signs himself J. E. March. I had earlier said that the Canadian National might give this free eye-opener to Ocean Limited patrons. Mr. March reminds me they already do on the CPR.
So next time you take the Canadian Pacific's No. 8 to Montreal in the morning, go into the diner and claim your free black coffee. They may not give it to you free if you travel on fast train No. 502, but it is worth a try anyway.
