Westport’s water tank was south (railway east) of the station, near the corner of Rideau and Concession Streets. The concrete foundations of the tank were still there in September 2009 when Andrew Jeanesphotographed the demolished remains of the station building.

The two lower photos gleaned from Facebook groups, showing what looks like two different tanks at two different points in time. The first was shared by the Rideau and District Museum and shows the station with the tank just visible beyond. The second was shared by Steve Goodell and shows gas-electric No. 15812 with the tank in the background at right.
