1972, February 17 - ten cars derailed on Lachute sub., CPR., no injuries

Ottawa Journal 17 February 1972. TRAIN DERAILMENT LACHUTE .Que. (CP) Ten cars of a CP Rail freight train were wrecked in a derailment Wednesday on the Montreal-Ottawa line about 10 imjles west of here. No injuries were reported. The derailment damaged about 1,000 feet of track, a Lachute fireman said.
