1909, May 20 - Collision between a passenger and a freight train at Prescott

One evening last week the passenger train known as the Moccasin, ran into the rear of a way freight which was standing near Prescott.  The wreckage caught fire, but was extinguished by the Prescott fire department before much damage was done.  The engine of the passenger train was disabled and the caboose and two freight cars practically destroyed.  Mr. R. Corley, of the Canada Fairbanks Limited, Montreal had his shoulder and left arm injured, and Mr. R. Candour, left arm injured, both of whom were removed to the Brockville hospital.
