1899, November 13 - Canada Atlantic Express derails at Alexandria, no injuries.

The first class and Pullman car of the Canada Atlantic express from Montreal left the rails at Alexandria, Ont., Monday tearing up 300 feet of rails and ties This was the only damage done outside of slight damage to one of the Pullman trucks.

Eastern Pntario Review (Vankleek Hill) 17 November 1899

The C.A.R. fast train left the track at Alexandria last Monday owing to the switch breaking. The coaches and track were damaged but no passengers were injured.
